Hybrid Angelfish

The Hybrid Angelfish (Holacanthus townsendi), commonly known as the Townsend Angelfish, is a striking species resulting from the hybridization of the Blue Angelfish and the Queen Angelfish. This unique hybrid is highly sought after in the marine aquarium trade due to its  vibrant coloration and the charismatic traits inherited from both parent species.This is a rare occurrence, as it can only take place in the limited region of the Caribbean where both parent species coexist, and the reefs of the Florida Keys are part of these waters.
