Shiping Information
Our critters are carefully shipped in insulated containers to prevent extreme temperature fluctuations during transit. We include heat or ice packs in the boxes as necessary.
We exclusively dispatch orders on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays to minimize the risk of transit delays and to prevent shipments from being stuck in warehouses over the weekend, which could jeopardize the well-being of the creatures. While we do provide shipping on Thursdays for Friday delivery, please note that any losses incurred due to carrier delays will nullify our live arrival guarantee.
Shipping times vary: some items may be shipped with 2-day shipping service, while others require next-day delivery. These options will be clearly indicated during the checkout process.
Please be aware that there are no exceptions for next-day deliveries.
Furthermore, we closely monitor weather conditions and other possible causes for delay in the delivery process (such as holiday travel or natural disasters) on shipping days. If we anticipate any delays, we may either postpone or cancel the shipment.
Orders placed before 11 AM Monday through Wednesday may be shipped the same day, subject to the week's schedule and holidays.
Orders placed on, or after Wednesday, will be shipped the following week.
