Turbo (Astrea) Snail

Turbo snails, also known as astrea snails, are popular choices for aquariums because they help control algae growth by grazing on surfaces.

These snails have shells that are popular for their ribs and swirls. Turbo snails are often common is sea grass beds and shallow reef environments. These snails are often found in groups together on various surfaces from rocks and corals to blades of grass. they can do well on their own but often do well in groups. they make an excellent cleanup crew for the algae in any marine aquarium. 

Typically, Astrea Snails range between 0.5 to 1.5 inch in diameter.
